About Black Creek Studios
Black Creek Studios is run by musician, producer, and composer Owen Davey, offering a creative space that combines comfort with high-quality production. Equipped with vintage keyboards, pianos, and a wide range of instruments, the studio is ideal for artists, musicians, and bands looking to bring their projects to life. Owen’s hands-on approach allows him to manage every aspect of the production process, with the flexibility to bring in additional talent when necessary.
The studio is also a dedicated space for composing music for film and TV, as well as sound design and foley work, providing a professional environment for capturing the perfect sonic atmosphere for any project.
The studio is located in a 150-year-old church, known for its natural acoustics, which provide a spacious, open sound that brings recordings to life. The main recording room is 73 feet long, 32 feet wide, and 22 feet high, offering a unique space for tracking live performances, experimenting with room ambience, or capturing a more natural sound.
Beyond music, the studio is also well-suited for filming sessions, live performance videos, and other visual projects, with professional camera and lighting gear available for use. The ongoing renovation of the entire basement will further expand the studio, improving the space and offering even more room for creativity.
Whether working solo or collaborating with others, Black Creek Studios provides a space that encourages artistic growth and allows your vision to come to life.
